Torridon celebrates International Women’s Day 2023: empowering women in the construction industry
On International Women’s Day, we at Torridon celebrate the invaluable contributions of the women in our team and the broader construction industry. The day serves as a reminder to support, empower, and uplift women in a historically male-dominated field. Torridon proudly boasts a team of nine, with six remarkable women at the helm – Sam, Toni, Jodie, Megan, Alice, and Regan. Each of these talented professionals brings unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to our company, contributing to our growth and success.
Despite significant strides, women still face challenges in the construction industry, including gender stereotypes, unequal pay, and a lack of representation in leadership roles. Every day, but even more so on International Women’s Day celebration, we recognise the importance of addressing these issues and promoting gender equality, inclusivity, and diversity within our company and the industry at large.
Each one of these fantastic role models has been contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional cost consultancy services, brining their own unique expertise and dedication to all of our projects, and our team as a whole. These women embody the spirit of International Women’s Day and exemplify the potential for women to excel in the construction industry. At Torridon, we believe in fostering an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages women to thrive in their careers. In honour of International Women’s Day, we pledge to continue promoting gender equality and empowering women in the workplace. We stand committed to driving positive change and breaking down barriers for the next generation of female leaders in the construction industry.
We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating International Women’s Day and the incredible women who contribute to the success of the construction industry. Together, we can build a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive future for all.
